Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kåre Sjögren took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute Kåre Sjögren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Deaconsfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristoffer Snäll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Martin Walroth came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Rätan IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Walroth couldn't finish the play. Kåre Sjögren in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Harvey Deaconsfield, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 14th minute Richard Deckberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Stephansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Rätan IF's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Deckberg came free, but Olov Stephansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 18 in the game by Kåre Sjögren from a close distance when the talented Harvey Deaconsfield managed to make a qualified save. Guttes Pojkar's players were relieved. Rätan IF's Kåre Sjögren got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Rätan IF booed when Guttes Pojkar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Biörkquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Axel Jonasson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harvey Deaconsfield skillfully saved the ball. Alexander Sellberg hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Martin Walroth struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Harvey Deaconsfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rätan IF. Guttes Pojkar's Harvey Deaconsfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kåre Sjögren in the 41st minute of play. Alexander Sellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Sellberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Kåre Sjögren sped through Guttes Pojkar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harvey Deaconsfield. After having played for 62 minutes, Richard Deckberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guttes Pojkar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Deckberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Åke Sandberg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Herbert Gabrielsson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Kåre Sjögren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harvey Deaconsfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rätan IF's Olov Stephansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Rätan IF from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kåre Sjögren in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harvey Deaconsfield prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harvey Deaconsfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Sjögren in the 83rd minute of the match. Kåre Sjögren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harvey Deaconsfield read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Kåre Sjögren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Deaconsfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Herbert Gabrielsson fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guttes Pojkar's protests and gave Herbert Gabrielsson a yellow card for diving instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rätan IF fully deserved thier win.
