In the 4thth minute of the game Ejner Lyhøj who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guttes Pojkar's Harvey Deaconsfield was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 5th minute, Felix Wiberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harvey Deaconsfield was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Guttes Pojkar's Harvey Deaconsfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ejner Lyhøj in the 15th minute of play. If Ejner Lyhøj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ejner Lyhøj in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harvey Deaconsfield prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 24 minutes, Marc Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Larsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Guttes Pojkar's goal looked a bit too open when Ejner Lyhøj came free, but Harvey Deaconsfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, AIK's Ejner Lyhøj nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harvey Deaconsfield made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 37th minute Stig Siggesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harvey Deaconsfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Wiberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harvey Deaconsfield. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Wiberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Wiberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guttes Pojkar's Harvey Deaconsfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ejner Lyhøj in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Guttes Pojkar defense, Ejner Lyhøj kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harvey Deaconsfield. The Guttes Pojkar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harvey Deaconsfield should have stopped the shot. The Guttes Pojkar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AIK were winning 0-6.

The wind increased when Alexander Sellberg made the kick off in the second half. Sven-Ove Vik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Deckberg in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 minutes, Einar Petersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guttes Pojkar and the AIK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ejner Lyhøj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Harvey Deaconsfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Guttes Pojkar's zone, Elias Bäcklin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harvey Deaconsfield came out of the goal and Elias Bäcklin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Wiberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Ejner Lyhøj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harvey Deaconsfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ejner Lyhøj in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ejner Lyhøj in the 92nd minute of play forced Guttes Pojkar's goalkeeper Harvey Deaconsfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marc Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AIK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
