Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ove Persson started the match with the kick off. Karl-Erik Lindsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Hjalmar Back made a huge save. Karl-Erik Lindsten came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hjalmar Back could save by the left post. After 17 played minutes BK Katastrof got a freekick which was hit by Henric Kock. In the 20th minute Torbjörn Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Back saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, BK Katastrof's Hjalmar Back got control of the ball when Karl-Erik Lindsten tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to BK Katastrof getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tomas Jönsson hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes Bjärnum got a freekick which was hit by Ove Persson. The nice shot from Karl-Erik Lindsten in the 31stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Hjalmar Back had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Patrick Lindkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig-Arne Lövskog read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Hjalmar Back made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Karl-Erik Lindsten sent off a good shot on target. Patrick Lindkvist took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Arne Lövskog. Stig-Arne Lövskog dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bjärnum's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Lövskog, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Lindkvist was the one to do the kick off. Stig-Arne Lövskog was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patrick Lindkvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 52 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Karl-Erik Lindsten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hjalmar Back was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Stig-Arne Lövskog didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Lindkvist went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Ove Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bjärnum's zone, Patrick Lindkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Arne Lövskog came out of the goal and Patrick Lindkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Erik Lindsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Back having to interfere. If Henric Kock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Patrick Lindkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. BK Katastrof's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
