Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Knut Back got the match started through his kick off. Knut Back recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute Knut Back shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Askstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Persson made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Ludvig Bolander sent off a good shot on target. Ivan Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Back, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kungsbacka United's Ivan Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Lindberg in the 16th minute of play. Mats Lindberg struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ivan Askstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långholmen FC. Ivan Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Mats Lindberg struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ivan Askstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långholmen FC. After a rather tough play, Långholmen FC's Charles Berg got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Arvid Nyqvist made the kick off in the second half. Mats Lindberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Ivan Askstedt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tobias Kihlberg struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Michael Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kungsbacka United. 68 minutes into the match, Långholmen FC's Knut Back sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Askstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Arvid Nyqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Persson. Långholmen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arvid Nyqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Kungsbacka United's Petter Ennegren got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Kungsbacka United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Knut Back scored to the left of an out of position Ivan Askstedt, making the score, 3-2. When Mats Lindberg came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Långholmen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Lindberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Mats Lindberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Knut Back received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Askstedt came out and tried to block the shot, but Knut Back slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 86th minute. Mats Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
