An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Hellbom in the 19th minute of play forced Syrianska FC's goalkeeper Mattias Tingelholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Robert Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Syrianska FC's Mattias Tingelholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Walroth in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Robert Hellbom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Syrianska FC's Mattias Tingelholm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robert Hellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Tingelholm having to interfere. Roy Walroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Norsholm's Algot Bengtsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mattias Tingelholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bengt Haegg's late challenge caught a Norsholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt Haegg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Bengt Haegg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Algot Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bengt Haegg to strike the kick off in the second half. Robert Hellbom took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mattias Tingelholm. Mattias Tingelholm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Algot Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Syrianska FC's Mattias Tingelholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Hellbom in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Syrianska FC's zone, Algot Bengtsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Tingelholm came out of the goal and Algot Bengtsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kasper Månsson got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jon Eklund. A collision led to Norsholm getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Markus Pettersson hit a great ball. A hard shot 70 in the game by Algot Bengtsson from a close distance when the talented Mattias Tingelholm managed to make a qualified save. Syrianska FC's players were relieved. Norsholm's Algot Bengtsson got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the game, Bengt Haegg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Norsholm's Robert Hellbom quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mattias Tingelholm was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Fredrik Ambjörnsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fredrik Ambjörnsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Henry Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Mattias Tingelholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norsholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonny Klintæus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Tingelholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Hellbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mattias Tingelholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Norsholm could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Syrianska FC throughout the match.
