Wiktor Jönsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Agnar af Syrien's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Lindberg came free, but Wiktor Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mats Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiktor Jönsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Lindberg in the 27th minute of the match. Långholmen FC's Michael Persson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Långholmen FC from getting a goal against them. Knut Back received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Wiktor Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mats Lindberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Knut Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 39 minutes, Mats Lindberg made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Agnar af Syrien's Wiktor Jönsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Knut Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Långholmen FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Långholmen FC's Knut Back in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Agnar af Syrien's goalie prevented a goal. Wiktor Jönsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Lindberg in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Knut Back dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wiktor Jönsson, 0-5. Knut Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Jönsson having to interfere. If Mats Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 65 played minutes Agnar af Syrien got a freekick which was hit by Aron Sandberg. Knut Back received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Wiktor Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Mats Lindberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Wiktor Jönsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mats Lindberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Åke Sörman in the 91st minute of play forced Långholmen FC's goalkeeper Michael Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiktor Jönsson was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Jens-Erik Vacker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jens-Erik Vacker really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Långholmen FC played a much better game than Agnar af Syrien and deserved their victory. The Agnar af Syrien players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
