With a little luck, Långholmen FC's Michael Persson got control of the ball when Simon Lövkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Michael Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Sjöberg in the 24th minute of the match. Michael Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heydär Hey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute of the match Långholmen FC got a corner. FC Nackspärr's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ralf Julin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Långholmen FC's Jan Wallgren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolf Arvidsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 41 minutes into the game, FC Nackspärr's Simon Lövkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Persson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 45 minutes into the match, FC Nackspärr's Heydär Hey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michael Persson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michael Persson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heydär Hey went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Knut Back to strike the kick off in the second half. Sven-Erik Nordkvist hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Michael Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heydär Hey in the 55th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Långholmen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Sjöberg came free, but Michael Persson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolf Arvidsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Lindberg in the 91st minute. Michael Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heydär Hey in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Lövkvist in the 94th minute of play forced Långholmen FC's goalkeeper Michael Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Nackspärr walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
