The supporters of Syrianska FC booed when Långholmen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Persson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Qvalfeldt in the 22nd minute of the match. Knut Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Tingelholm having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Bengt Haegg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Långholmen FC's Michael Persson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mats Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mattias Tingelholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Långholmen FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Ek came free, but Michael Persson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mattias Tingelholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Långholmen FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
