After 7 minutes, Elliot Zander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hanken BoIS and the Långholmen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Långholmen FC's Stelios Dalianis threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Knut Back, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Michael Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Alin in the 17th minute of play. Michael Persson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magne Rolandsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Magne Rolandsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Långholmen FC booed when Hanken BoIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Oskar Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hanken BoIS getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Magne Rolandsson hit a great ball. Mats Lindberg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Stelios Dalianis 32 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Mats Lindberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stelios Dalianis. Hanken BoIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mats Lindberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Stelios Dalianis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Wallgren in the 40th minute of the match. Michael Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Rolandsson in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Hanken BoIS booed when Långholmen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Nordkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magne Rolandsson struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Michael Persson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hanken BoIS. Hanken BoIS's Stelios Dalianis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Wallgren in the 56th minute of play. Stelios Dalianis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Wallgren in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Knut Back shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stelios Dalianis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 played minutes Långholmen FC got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Nord. Magne Rolandsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. Långholmen FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
