The referee ignored Eslöv's protests and gave Benjamin Stenström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Eslöv's Benjamin Stenström got a free kick in the 11th minute. Yngve Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Barck in the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eslöv's goalkeeper Yngve Lund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anders Adelsköld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Samuelsson in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Kjell-Arne Barck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Lund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Eslöv were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Edvard Samuelsson made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Bengt Jespersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eslöv's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Jespersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Adelsköld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kjell-Arne Barck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yngve Lund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Sture Granberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Lund having to interfere. Yngve Lund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sture Granberg's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Eslöv's Yngve Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Barck in the 66th minute of play. Sture Granberg took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yngve Lund. Yngve Lund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Stig Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 79th play minutes Kjell-Arne Barck shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Yngve Lund and just under the crossbar into goal. Kjell-Arne Barck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eslöv's Yngve Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Barck in the 96th minute of play. Leno FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
