Calle Karlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Järnkaminer IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvin Blixt to maneuver through the defense. When Gilbert Axelsson fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored South Beach Gators FC's protests and gave Gilbert Axelsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to South Beach Gators FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gilbert Axelsson hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Robert Beneth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Erik Vikström was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Robert Beneth scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Erik Vikström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robert Beneth in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Jens-Erik Vikström made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Robert Beneth sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 36 in the game by Robert Beneth from a close distance when the talented Jens-Erik Vikström managed to make a qualified save. South Beach Gators FC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, South Beach Gators FC's Petter Hultman got a free kick in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, South Beach Gators FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Beneth came free, but Jens-Erik Vikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Beneth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Vikström having to interfere.

The wind increased when Robert Beneth made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, South Beach Gators FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Järnkrok to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, South Beach Gators FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Beneth came free, but Jens-Erik Vikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eric Lindell came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Järnkaminer IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Lindell couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Beneth in the 65th minute of play forced South Beach Gators FC's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Vikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Erik Vikström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Blixt, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jens-Erik Vikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Beneth in the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Beneth in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Erik Vikström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Dan Rosén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the game Vidar Tunander made a throw-in which Eric Lindell played forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Beneth in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Erik Vikström saved South Beach Gators FC from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Robert Beneth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Erik Vikström was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Eric Lindell came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Järnkaminer IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Lindell couldn't finish the play. South Beach Gators FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
