BK Olympic's Torbjörn Näver shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Yngve Lund but with some difficulty. Lucas Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Hermansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yngve Lund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Hermansson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st match minute, Eslöv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Ahlfors to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, BK Olympic's Lucas Hermansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yngve Lund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Eric Kihlberg came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the BK Olympic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Kihlberg couldn't finish the play. Yngve Lund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Hermansson's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Tony Askberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yngve Lund having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Jespersson in the 37th minute of play forced BK Olympic's goalkeeper Josef Bergren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Hermansson in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yngve Lund saved Eslöv from getting behind. Josef Bergren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Gullesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Eric Kihlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Jan Ahlfors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lucas Hermansson got free in front of the goal in the 44th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Yngve Lund was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Torbjörn Näver kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Yngve Lund stood somewhat misplaced when Lucas Hermansson came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 47 minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 57 played minutes, Eslöv's Anton Nordin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Josef Bergren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eslöv reached it. Daniel Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Eslöv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Stenström to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ted Åman during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
