Jonathan Grubb started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Stellan Strandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egon Kiempe was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esbjörn Karlsson got free with Rutger Bennet in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Egon Kiempe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Grubb, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Egon Kiempe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Strandberg in the 12th minute of the match. Lycke's Egon Kiempe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Wallin in the 13th minute of play. Rutger Bennet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 23 played minutes Holmsund got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Ivarsson. After a rather tough play, Holmsund's Wiktor Hernström got a free kick in the 26th minute. A hard shot by Erland Elg from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Rutger Bennet's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Paulin in the 28th minute of play forced Holmsund's goalkeeper Rutger Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esbjörn Karlssons short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Rutger Bennet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th minute of the match, Esbjörn Karlsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rutger Bennet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Egon Kiempe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Strandberg in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Lycke's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Grubb came free, but Egon Kiempe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After recieving a nice pass, Holmsund's Harry Andberg tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Svante Berglund kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Lycke getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Svante Berglund hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Harry Andberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egon Kiempe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Esbjörn Karlsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holmsund's Rutger Bennet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erik Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Bennet having to interfere. Rutger Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Karlsson in the 80th minute of play. Egon Kiempe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Wallin in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Åke Ivarsson in the 82nd minute of play forced Lycke's goalkeeper Egon Kiempe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Hamberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Rutger Bennet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Lycke's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
