The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hörby's Magnus Sundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Berglund in the 12th minute of play. August Lindmark's late challenge caught a BK Tåfjutt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. August Lindmark helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Hörby getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. August Lindmark hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joacim Dahlgren during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alf Galle charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Galle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes BK Tåfjutt got a freekick which was hit by Alf Galle. BK Tåfjutt's Alf Galle got his second yellow card of the match in the 24th minute. The referee ordered Alf Galle off the ground. In the 25th minute, Alf Galle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torgny Henriksson scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jesper Böcklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Torgny Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes, Mikael Stabbe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Tåfjutt and the Hörby players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BK Tåfjutt's Mikael Stabbe got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match William Alströmer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesper Böcklund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Erland Falkrans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesper Böcklund. BK Tåfjutt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erland Falkrans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After the first half Hörby were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torgny Henriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. Erland Falkrans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Jesper Böcklund made a huge save. Torgny Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Duset in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magnus Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thomas Duset recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikael Stabbe got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. With a little luck, BK Tåfjutt's Jesper Böcklund got control of the ball when Erland Falkrans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vilhelm Carlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torgny Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Böcklund having to interfere. Magnus Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Duset in the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Thomas Duset managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Tåfjutt's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Duset was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magnus Sundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Hörby players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
