Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dick Eliasson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Alsterbro got a freekick which was hit by Bror Eriksson. Folke Pilgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wictor Sundberg having to make a save. After 6 minutes, Zebastian Grönlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smallville FC and the Alsterbro players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alsterbro booed when Smallville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Grönlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sakarias Lindström's late challenge caught a Smallville FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakarias Lindström helped the player get up and apologised. Sakarias Lindström hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Valter Ahlin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wictor Sundberg having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Alsterbro's Agne Backman got a free kick in the 11th minute. When Folke Pilgren came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Smallville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Pilgren couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sakarias Lindström in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Hedlund saved Smallville FC from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Erling Hedling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wictor Sundberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Leif Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Hedlund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Holmstedt in the 34th minute of play forced Alsterbro's goalkeeper Wictor Sundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by Agne Backman with Sakarias Lindström as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sakarias Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Sakarias Lindström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wictor Sundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Hedling in the 43rd minute of the match. Axel Holmstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Holmstedt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the match, Alsterbro's Leif Sandström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Hedlund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wictor Sundberg was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Axel Holmstedt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Axel Holmstedt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When Zebastian Grönlund was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. Smallville FC's Urban Kinell quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Wictor Sundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Holmstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wictor Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Hedling, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Vilgot Larsfelt charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilgot Larsfelt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Alsterbro's Vilgot Larsfelt got a free kick in the 85th minute. Alsterbro's Wictor Sundberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Alsterbro from getting a goal against them. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
