The supporters of Gnurkas FC booed when Hörby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viggo Tinglöf didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Dan Hedman put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Magnus Sundström. After 7 minutes of play, Gnurkas FC's Dan Hedman made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Magnus Sundström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th minute, Dan Hedman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Hedmans short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Magnus Sundström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dan Hedman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Magnus Sundström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gnurkas FC's Harald Engström suffered a concussion after 22 minutes and had to leave the field. Gnurkas FC made a substitution. Johnny Andersson replaced Harald Engström. In the 23rd match minute, Hörby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Bergdal to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Hörby:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gnurkas FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Gnurkas FC's Dan Hedman got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Magnus Sundström. Dan Hedman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adrian Bergdal hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Viggo Tinglöf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magnus Sundström was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Dan Hedman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dan Hedman really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torgny Henriksson was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Hedman in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magnus Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Hedman in the 60th minute of play forced Hörby's goalkeeper Magnus Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gnurkas FC's Dan Hedman got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. William Alströmer kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Dan Hedman put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Magnus Sundström. In the 70th minute, Dan Hedman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magnus Sundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 74 minutes into the match, Hörby's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Hedman came free, but Magnus Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hörby's Magnus Sundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Hedman in the 94th minute of play. If Dan Hedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Gnurkas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
