HorndalF FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Södertälje AIK the free kick. Adrian Tache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Bergkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Södertälje AIK's Bo-Erik Björkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Mårtensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Södertälje AIK's Tage Askestät got a free kick in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Kullander in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Tache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Bo-Erik Björkman came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Södertälje AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo-Erik Björkman couldn't finish the play. Johannes Kullander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Adrian Tache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HorndalF FC's Börge Hedin got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Södertälje AIK got a freekick which was hit by Sture Törnkvist. Adrian Tache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Kullander's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 36 played minutes Södertälje AIK got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Olofsson. Aron Mårtensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Erik Gustavsson's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. When Bo-Erik Björkman came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Södertälje AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo-Erik Björkman couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in HorndalF FC's zone, Bo-Erik Björkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aron Mårtensson came out of the goal and Bo-Erik Björkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johannes Kullander was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Adrian Tache managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when HorndalF FC's Johannes Kullander fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adrian Tache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Kullander in the 66th minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Johannes Kullander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Södertälje AIK's Adrian Tache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute, Joseph Kullgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Tache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Kullander in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Sven-Erik Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Erik Gustavsson in the 88th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Johannes Kullander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Tache. Södertälje AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johannes Kullander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, George Bergkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. HorndalF FC's supporters rose to their feet, but George Bergkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Tache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aron Mårtensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Erik Gustavsson in the 101st minute of play. HorndalF FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
