But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Igelström couldn't finish the play. Christian Stenquist charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Stenquist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Janne United's Christian Stenquist got a free kick in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Marcus Hagström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hjalmar Näver was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hjalmar Näver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Gerdberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Erik Gerdberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Näver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Erik Walmarsson made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Janne United's Victor Winström. Alexander Molin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joar Bank having to make a save.
