Adrian Tache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Winström in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Victor Winström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Södertälje AIK's Adrian Tache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, Södertälje AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Tache acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 17th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Torsten Löfskog. Victor Winström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Adrian Tache made a huge save. Bo-Erik Björkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Einar Söderström's late challenge caught a Södertälje AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Einar Söderström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Janne United getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Einar Söderström hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Janne United's zone, Bo-Erik Björkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hjalmar Näver came out of the goal and Bo-Erik Björkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Adrian Tache successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Janne United's Hjalmar Näver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo-Erik Björkman in the 37th minute of play. Södertälje AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Victor Winström scored to the left of an out of position Adrian Tache, making the score, 1-0. In the 44th minute Victor Winström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Tache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Södertälje AIK made a substitution. Joel Nordström replaced Bo-Erik Björkman. Adrian Tache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Winström in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Winström in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Tache saved Södertälje AIK from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Sven-Erik Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Näver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Janne United booed when Södertälje AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Askestät didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Winström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Adrian Tache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Tache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Winström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Filip Levander came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Janne United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Levander couldn't finish the play. Sven-Erik Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Näver having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Victor Winström made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Tache. Södertälje AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Christian Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Sture Törnkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
