Dennis Pettersson scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aron Mårtensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rutger Vinström in the 25th minute of play forced HorndalF FC's goalkeeper Aron Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Lindberg came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by HorndalF FC's Johannes Kullander. But to his dismay, Johannes Kullander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Näsbypark Nuggets getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Yngve Axelsson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, HorndalF FC's Johannes Kullander got a free kick in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Kullander in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Lindberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Kullander made a kick off. Johannes Kullander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Johannes Kullander sped through Näsbypark Nuggets's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anton Lindberg. Näsbypark Nuggets's Anton Lindberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Näsbypark Nuggets from getting a goal against them. Johannes Kullander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Lindberg having to interfere. Anton Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Kullander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johannes Kullander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Anton Lindberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. HorndalF FC played a much better game than Näsbypark Nuggets and deserved their victory. The Näsbypark Nuggets players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
