In the 15thth minute of the game Elof Kilstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Näsbypark Nuggets's Anton Lindberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Yngve Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Östergmalms FK's Martin Andreasson in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Östergmalms FK's Eli Fournier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Östergmalms FK from getting a goal against them. Näsbypark Nuggets's Rutger Vinström got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Östergmalms FK's Eli Fournier got control of the ball when Kalle Odén tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Östergmalms FK's Adam Lindholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Lindberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Näsbypark Nuggets's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Kilstedt came free, but Anton Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Näsbypark Nuggets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yngve Axelsson to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Näsbypark Nuggets's Anton Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elof Kilstedt in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Östergmalms FK booed when Näsbypark Nuggets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalle Odén struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Eli Fournier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Näsbypark Nuggets. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rutger Vinström in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eli Fournier saved Östergmalms FK from getting behind. Dennis Pettersson hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Kalle Odén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Elof Kilstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Martin Andreasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östergmalms FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Andreasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anton Lindberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elof Kilstedt in the 88th minute of play forced Näsbypark Nuggets's goalkeeper Anton Lindberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Lindberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Kilstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes Elof Kilstedt rounded Näsbypark Nuggets's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Östergmalms FK played a much better game than Näsbypark Nuggets and deserved their victory. The Näsbypark Nuggets players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
