Tony Helander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Folke Vikström in the 11th minute. Joakim Hård charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joakim Hård the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joakim Hård kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Jerry Grönlund took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörgen Nordin. Jörgen Nordin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerry Grönlund during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Kings of the North was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Grönlund to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, Bastuträsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Andreasson to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute of the match Jerry Grönlund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jörgen Nordin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Jan Andreasson fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bastuträsk's protests and gave Jan Andreasson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Bastuträsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Andreasson to maneuver through the defense. Jerry Grönlund struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Jörgen Nordin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kings of the North. In the 30th minute Joakim Lustig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bastuträsk's goalkeeper Jörgen Nordin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kings of the North's Tony Helander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Kings of the North from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes in the game, Sven-Edvin Sundberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tony Helander having to interfere. Tony Helander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven-Edvin Sundberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. If Tommy Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Joakim Hård hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kings of the North's Tommy Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joakim Lustig was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Persson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jörgen Nordin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kings of the North. Bastuträsk's Jörgen Nordin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bastuträsk from getting a goal against them. Kings of the North's Tony Helander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Sundberg in the 71st minute of play. Tommy Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jörgen Nordin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Nordin made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Joakim Lustig sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Bastuträsk's zone, Erik Gerdberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörgen Nordin came out of the goal and Erik Gerdberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans Igelström's late challenge caught a Bastuträsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Igelström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Kings of the North was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Igelström to maneuver through the defense. Filip Eriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jörgen Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Lustig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Gerdberg struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jörgen Nordin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kings of the North. Jerry Grönlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jörgen Nordin made a huge save. Tony Helander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Vikström in the 97th minute of the match. The Bastuträsk fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kings of the North were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
