In the 2nd minute Örjan Grelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Bennet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Trollhättan's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Söderman came free, but Frank Bennet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Paul Pilberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Söderman in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Trollhättan's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Söderman came free, but Frank Bennet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes, Undenäs BK's Morgan Bergqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frank Bennet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Undenäs BK reached it. Morgan Bergqvist's late challenge caught a Trollhättan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Morgan Bergqvist helped the player get up and apologised. Morgan Bergqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Tommy Olofsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vidar Arvidsson. Örjan Grelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Frank Bennet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Trollhättan's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Hedbom came free, but Frank Bennet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Trollhättan's Christer Kilman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Olofsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Trollhättan booed when Undenäs BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Kråk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Bennet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Tunander, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes Trollhättan got a freekick which was hit by Jens Aronsson. If Anton Hedbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Örjan Grelsson scored 1-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Bennet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Söderman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Trollhättan's Frank Bennet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Grelsson in the 52nd minute of play. Frank Bennet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Hedbom in the 56th minute of the match. Frank Bennet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Hedbom in the 57th minute. Torgny Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Bennet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Grelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Örjan Grelsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Frank Bennet to make any attempt to save it. 75 minutes into the game, Dan Söderman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Frank Bennet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Bennet made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Dan Söderman sent off a good shot on target. When Dan Söderman in the 79th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Frank Bennet kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Frank Bennet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Söderman in the 83rd minute of the match. Frank Bennet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Söderman in the 89th minute. Frank Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Grelsson in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Undenäs BK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Lennart Emander hit a great ball. Undenäs BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
