After a rather tough play, Ödeborg IF's Gustav Ålberg got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ödeborg IF's Arvid Alkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Ödeborg IF from getting a goal against them. Stig Malm's late challenge caught a Ödeborg IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Malm helped the player get up and apologised. 13 minutes into the game, Allan Björkman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lavsjön RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ödeborg IF the free kick. Magnus Bergren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Byström, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Lavsjön RK's Allan Björkman got his second yellow card of the match in the 21st minute. The referee ordered Allan Björkman off the ground. Allan Björkman kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Jimmy Lindqvist from a close distance when the talented Arvid Alkvist managed to make a qualified save. Ödeborg IF's players were relieved. In the 25th minute, Gustav Ålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimmy Lindqvist struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Arvid Alkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavsjön RK. 41 minutes into the match, Ödeborg IF's goalkeeper Arvid Alkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimmy Lindqvist. After having played for 46 minutes, Jimmy Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavsjön RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmy Lindqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Jimmy Lindqvist made the kick off in the second half. When Gustav Ålberg fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ödeborg IF's protests and gave Gustav Ålberg a yellow card for diving instead. Fredrik Sjögren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 74 played minutes Ödeborg IF got a freekick which was hit by Jim Ekenberg. Arvid Alkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Jimmy Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Arvid Alkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Jimmy Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvid Alkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lavsjön RK's Fredrik Sjögren got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimmy Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Arvid Alkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lavsjön RK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ödeborg IF to leave the ground with a draw.
