Milian Villaseñor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Staffan Jansson's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Ödsmål's Sven-Åke Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greger Hammarberg in the 8th minute of play. Milian Villaseñor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Staffan Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Nils Ekström kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Kjell Frykberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milian Villaseñor having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Jansson in the 22nd minute of play forced Karlshamns AAK's goalkeeper Milian Villaseñor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Karlshamns AAK got a freekick which was hit by Jens Uggstedt. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Greger Hammarberg made a kick off. After 51st play minutes Greger Hammarberg shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Sven-Åke Wallander and just under the crossbar into goal. Sven-Åke Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greger Hammarberg in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Tord Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milian Villaseñor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milian Villaseñor made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Staffan Jansson sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute, Ödsmål's Staffan Jansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Milian Villaseñor. Milian Villaseñor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Staffan Janssons short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Milian Villaseñor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 77 minutes into the match, Ödsmål's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Hammarberg came free, but Sven-Åke Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Staffan Jansson got free with Milian Villaseñor in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Frykberg in the 81st minute of play forced Karlshamns AAK's goalkeeper Milian Villaseñor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jan-Olof Backlund fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ödsmål's protests and gave Jan-Olof Backlund a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ödsmål's Jan-Olof Backlund got a free kick in the 83rd minute.
