But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Pettersson couldn't finish the play. Allan Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Lundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Fagersanna FF's Allan Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Zander in the 10th minute of play. With 12 minutes on the clock, Per-Åke Jansson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Fenerbahce SK booed when Fagersanna FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Åke Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fagersanna FF's Allan Lindgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Fagersanna FF from getting a goal against them. In the 17th match minute, Fagersanna FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Palmkvist to maneuver through the defense. Allan Lindgren made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ronny Pettersson sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Fagersanna FF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Osvald Pihlwall hit a great ball. If Olof Zander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute, Benislav Pemov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Lindgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Salvador Rius made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fagersanna FF's Leonardo Palmkvist. The crowd rose to their feet as Dennis Lundström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Allan Lindgren. That made the score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Fagersanna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Zander came free, but Allan Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvald Pihlwall made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Salvador Rius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Allan Lindgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fenerbahce SK's Benislav Pemov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sigvard Harlén in the 58 minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Fagersanna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Lundström came free, but Allan Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benislav Pemov, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Benislav Pemov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fenerbahce SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahce SK's Salvador Rius got a free kick in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Fagersanna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Lundström came free, but Allan Lindgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Mossberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fagersanna FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fenerbahce SK the free kick. A collision led to Fagersanna FF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bengt-Arne Mossberg hit a great ball. Torsten Hammarberg hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Osvald Pihlwall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahce SK's Petter Springfält was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Allan Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Rius, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Fagersanna FF's Allan Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benislav Pemov in the 89th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Fagersanna FF got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Lönn. Allan Lindgren came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fenerbahce SK's Benislav Pemov. But to his dismay, Benislav Pemov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. There was no doubt that Fenerbahce SK were the better team. Fenerbahce SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
