An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Pihlwall in the 3rd minute of play forced Karlshamns AAK's goalkeeper Milian Villaseñor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes, Joachim Nyman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karlshamns AAK and the Fagersanna FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joachim Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Karlshamns AAK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Norström to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Karlshamns AAK's goalkeeper Milian Villaseñor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magnus Carlsson. Allan Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Nyman in the 19th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Osvald Pihlwall kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Milian Villaseñor. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Greger Hammarberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conny Larsson in the 29th minute of the match. Milian Villaseñor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvald Pihlwall in the 30th minute of the match. Fagersanna FF's Allan Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Uggstedt in the 34th minute of play. Karlshamns AAK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joachim Nyman in the 35th minute. Allan Lindgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Greger Hammarberg's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 47th minute, Conny Larsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karlshamns AAK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Greger Hammarberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Conny Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Lönn hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Fagersanna FF's Allan Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Lövkvist in the 57th minute of play. Allan Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ture Jönsson in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Greger Hammarberg in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Lindgren saved Fagersanna FF from getting behind. After having played for 69 minutes, Greger Hammarberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karlshamns AAK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greger Hammarberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conny Larsson got in the 72nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Allan Lindgren handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to Fagersanna FF getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Samuel Lönn hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Paul Boman threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fagersanna FF's Leonardo Palmkvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 76th minute, Ture Jönsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Lindgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Allan Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Jönsson in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match Jens Uggstedt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Lindgren skillfully saved the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Ture Jönsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Allan Lindgren. Ture Jönsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. A collision led to Karlshamns AAK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Tommy Norström hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Tommy Norström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milian Villaseñor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Pihlwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Karlshamns AAK's Greger Hammarberg in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fagersanna FF's goalie prevented a goal. The Fagersanna FF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Karlshamns AAK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
