Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Sandviken's Ryszard Poling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Sandviken from getting a goal against them. Söderkamraterna FF's attentive Hjalmar Tunander managed to snatch the ball when Andreas Boklund made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Söderkamraterna FF's Stig Clementsson got a free kick in the 67th minute. Aaron Ekström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Victor Tunström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Ryszard Poling when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tobias Botvidsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars-Erik Påk's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Douglas Blom during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle.
