Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when André Lilja got the match started through his kick off. Henning Josefsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes of play, Upper East Side's Håkan Blomqvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henning Josefsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Viktor Elg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 22 played minutes Siesta Key FC got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Tingberg. Ernst Nordstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Henning Josefsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Siesta Key FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Upper East Side booed when Siesta Key FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linus Sandwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Sandwall got free with Viktor Elg in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustav Siggman charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustav Siggman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, one of Upper East Side:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Upper East Side. The goalkeeper, Viktor Elg, was totally fooled by Siesta Key FC's Erling Böcklund, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Siesta Key FC's goalkeeper Henning Josefsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Lilja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Elg having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Johan Hedlund fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Siesta Key FC's protests and gave Johan Hedlund a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Siesta Key FC's Johan Hedlund got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Håkan Blomqvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. André Lilja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Elg having to interfere. Viktor Elg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Lilja in the 62nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Håkan Blomqvist took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Henning Josefsson to make any attempt to save it. Linus Sandwall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If André Lilja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Linus Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Elg having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Upper East Side got a freekick which was hit by Freddie Johansson. In the 86th match minute, Siesta Key FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Wennerström to maneuver through the defense. Linus Sandwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Viktor Elg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Upper East Side's zone, André Lilja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Elg came out of the goal and André Lilja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
