Linus Sandwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Egon Snell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laröd All Stars's Kevin Påk got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 9 played minutes Siesta Key FC got a freekick which was hit by Joel Dahlbom. After a defensive mix-up in Siesta Key FC's zone, Kevin Påk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henning Josefsson came out of the goal and Kevin Påk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute of the match Bo Ström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egon Snell skillfully saved the ball. Per Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Karl-Michael Wahlnäs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henning Josefsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Henning Josefsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harald Ek's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 28 played minutes Siesta Key FC got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Arne Tingberg. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Lilja in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egon Snell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Blom during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. André Lilja scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egon Snell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harald Ek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Henning Josefsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Henning Josefsson was a little too slow when Harald Ek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Harald Asplund kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Linus Sandwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Per Sandberg fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Siesta Key FC's protests and gave Per Sandberg a yellow card for diving instead. Per Sandberg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Harald Ek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Josefsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Linus Sandwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Laröd All Stars's goal looked a bit too open when André Lilja came free, but Egon Snell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Linus Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Snell having to interfere. Laröd All Stars's Egon Snell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Lilja in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Siesta Key FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Laröd All Stars.
