The audience was convinced that Lars-Erik Påk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolf Bäck was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Army Ants's zone, Olov Löfgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Bäck came out of the goal and Olov Löfgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Army Ants getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Freddie Benet hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Lars-Erik Påk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandviken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 83 minutes into the match, Lars-Erik Påk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolf Bäck. Army Ants's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars-Erik Påk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. 94 minutes into the match, Army Ants's goalkeeper Rolf Bäck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars-Erik Påk. 96 minutes into the match, Army Ants's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Påk came free, but Rolf Bäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Olov Löfgren made a precise shot to the right of Rolf Bäck. Army Ants's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Sandviken played a much better game than Army Ants and deserved their victory. The Army Ants players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
