Villiam Norberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älvsjö AIK. After having played for 7 minutes, Karl-Johan Bålström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Älvsjö AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Johan Bålström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per Söderström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kim Jakobsson in the 9th minute. In the 11th match minute, Älvsjö AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Asklöv to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes of play, Älvsjö AIK's Karl-Johan Bålström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Villiam Norberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Älvsjö AIK's Ture Eliasson got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ture Eliasson charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ture Eliasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Ture Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute Mathias Asklöv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villiam Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Asklöv in the 34th minute of play. Villiam Norberg came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Älvsjö AIK's Mathias Asklöv. But to his dismay, Mathias Asklöv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Arsenal FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Älvsjö AIK were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathias Asklöv stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Älvsjö AIK's Mathias Asklöv sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Villiam Norberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl-Johan Bålström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Villiam Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Johan Bålström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Villiam Norberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Arsenal FC's Anthon Kjellman made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Per Söderström was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Karl-Johan Bålström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Patric Qvarnström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Älvsjö AIK's Tomas Blom quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 86 minutes, Arne Fristedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Älvsjö AIK and the Arsenal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Arne Fristedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Arsenal FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Anthon Kjellman hit a great ball. The Arsenal FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Älvsjö AIK's performance. The match ended with a win for Älvsjö AIK.
