Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 5664, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mikael Ahlroth kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Biörkquist in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrício Portugal saved Surte BF from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Surte BF's Thomas Thomas got a free kick in the 19th minute. Patrício Portugal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Ahlroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Peter Strömberg hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Surte BF's Ermegildo Lauro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 39th minute, Alexander Biörkquist made a precise shot to the right of Patrício Portugal. Surte BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 42 minutes into the match, Surte BF's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Biörkquist came free, but Patrício Portugal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Mikael Ahlroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrício Portugal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Thomas Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Ermegildo Lauro made the kick off in the second half. Patrício Portugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Ahlroth in the 51st minute of play. Patrício Portugal made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Alexander Biörkquist sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Liverbird booed when Surte BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Lauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th match minute, Surte BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Thomas to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Biörkquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Thomas hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Patrício Portugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Strömberg in the 62nd minute of play. Surte BF's Patrício Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Ahlroth in the 63rd minute of play. Patrício Portugal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Biörkquist in the 65th minute. A collision led to Surte BF getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Thomas Thomas hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Biörkquist got free with Patrício Portugal in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Liverbird reached it. 71 minutes into the match, Surte BF's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Ahlroth came free, but Patrício Portugal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes, Thomas Thomas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Surte BF and the Liverbird players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrício Portugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Strömberg in the 81st minute of play. Jesper Fors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Hjälm having to interfere. Alexander Biörkquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Patrício Portugal made a huge save. In the 91st match minute, Surte BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimi Hendrix to maneuver through the defense. Evert Hjälm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the match was over Liverbird could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Surte BF throughout the match.
