Villiam Norberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Villiam Norberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marko Palmquist went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 34thth minute of the game Jarl Pil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dalaplan FC's Urbano Ponce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Arsenal FC's Göran Lidström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Urbano Ponce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Pil in the 45th minute of play. Anthon Kjellman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Engman hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarl Pil was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Björklund in the 54th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Villiam Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marko Palmquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Villiam Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villiam Norberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mikael Björklund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 56 minute of play. Arsenal FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Mikael Björklund scored to the left of an out of position Villiam Norberg, making the score, 1-5. After having played for 64 minutes, Marko Palmquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalaplan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marko Palmquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Villiam Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villiam Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Björklund in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Marko Palmquist notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Arsenal FC's Villiam Norberg. Villiam Norberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Villiam Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Engman in the 77th minute. Marko Palmquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Villiam Norberg made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikael Björklund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Villiam Norberg. That made the score 1-7 in the 79 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marko Palmquist got free with Villiam Norberg in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Göran Lidström fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal FC's protests and gave Göran Lidström a yellow card for diving instead. Göran Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match, Mikael Björklund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Villiam Norberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 94th minute Mikael Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villiam Norberg was a little too slow when Algot Bjursell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-8. Dalaplan FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
