Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Liverbird's Mikael Ahlroth started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Karl-Ove Björling might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evert Hjälm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Ove Björling ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 4th minute Ola Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Hjälm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 played minutes Liverbird got a freekick which was hit by Peter Strömberg. 6 minutes into the match, Karl-Ove Björling notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Liverbird's Evert Hjälm. Evert Hjälm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Alexander Biörkquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Ahlroth might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sören Biörkquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikael Ahlroth ran back to his position shaking his head. Peter Strömberg struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sören Biörkquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverbird. After a defensive mix-up in Liverbird's zone, Tor Månsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Hjälm came out of the goal and Tor Månsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Liverbird's Mikael Ahlroth ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sören Biörkquist. Sören Biörkquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Alexander Biörkquist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Sören Biörkquist skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Mikael Ahlroth came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Liverbird fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Ahlroth couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, FC Loiske United's Sören Biörkquist got control of the ball when Alexander Biörkquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sören Biörkquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Ahlroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sören Biörkquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Biörkquist in the 37th minute. Peter Strömberg struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Sören Biörkquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverbird. Alex Balboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Peter Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverbird's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Strömberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sören Biörkquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kjell Jernberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sören Biörkquist firmly grabbed it by the left post. Peter Strömberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sören Biörkquist having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Jörn Hellkvist made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Dário Mangueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverbird's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Loiske United the free kick. The supporters of FC Loiske United booed when Liverbird was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Ola Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Hjälm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Peter Strömberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sören Biörkquist. FC Loiske United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Strömberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Alexander Biörkquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Liverbird's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Hellkvist came free, but Evert Hjälm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 65 minutes, Peter Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liverbird's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Strömberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Alexander Biörkquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tor Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Alexander Biörkquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Loiske United's Sören Biörkquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Ahlroth in the 75th minute of play. Alexander Biörkquist scored 4-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sören Biörkquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mikael Ahlroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sören Biörkquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Dário Mangueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute Alexander Biörkquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Biörkquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Biörkquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Biörkquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Ahlroth in the 90th minute of play forced FC Loiske United's goalkeeper Sören Biörkquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Liverbird were the better team. Liverbird's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
