Patrício Portugal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Björklund in the 5th minute of the match. Jimi Hendrix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Thomas might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbano Ponce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Thomas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Björklund in the 14th minute of play forced Surte BF's goalkeeper Patrício Portugal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Lauro in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbano Ponce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Överman kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Patrício Portugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Björklund in the 25th minute of play. If Ermegildo Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Marko Palmquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalaplan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marko Palmquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th match minute, Surte BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Överman to maneuver through the defense. If Marko Palmquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Björklund in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrício Portugal saved Surte BF from getting behind. When Marko Palmquist came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Dalaplan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marko Palmquist couldn't finish the play. When Thomas Thomas came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Surte BF fans jumped to their feet. Dalaplan FC's Urbano Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Lauro in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Surte BF's Thomas Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-2 became the score in the 64th minute when Ermegildo Lauro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Patrício Portugal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Björklund in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Marko Palmquist notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Surte BF's Patrício Portugal. Patrício Portugal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrício Portugal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Björklund in the 73rd minute of the match. Urbano Ponce made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ermegildo Lauro sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Dalaplan FC's zone, Thomas Thomas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Ponce came out of the goal and Thomas Thomas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Jimi Hendrix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surte BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimi Hendrix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Ponce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimi Hendrix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Surte BF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
