Älvsjö AIK's Per Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Ahlroth in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mikael Ahlroth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Söderström was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Alexander Biörkquist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Per Söderström came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexander Biörkquist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Per Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Ahlroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Älvsjö AIK's Karl-Magnus Östlund got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Älvsjö AIK defense, Alexander Biörkquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per Söderström. The Älvsjö AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per Söderström should have stopped the shot. Per Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Ahlroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Älvsjö AIK's Per Söderström got control of the ball when Alexander Biörkquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Älvsjö AIK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mikael Ahlroth 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Biörkquist got free with Per Söderström in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 43 minutes on the clock, Alex Balboa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Strömberg in the 47th minute of play forced Älvsjö AIK's goalkeeper Per Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Alexander Biörkquist made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Karl-Magnus Östlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Älvsjö AIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverbird the free kick. In the 55th minute, Karl-Magnus Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th match minute, Älvsjö AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Fristedt to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes in the game Arne Fristedt did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Karl-Magnus Östlund. Alexander Biörkquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Per Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liverbird's attentive Peter Strömberg managed to snatch the ball when Arne Fristedt made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Per Söderström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Per Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Biörkquist in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Biörkquist in the 70th minute of play forced Älvsjö AIK's goalkeeper Per Söderström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sakarias Johansson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Älvsjö AIK's Karl-Magnus Östlund got a free kick in the 85th minute. Per Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Biörkquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes of play, Liverbird's Alexander Biörkquist made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Per Söderström was left in no man's land by his defense there!
