Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mathias Asklöv made the kick off which started today's match. Mathias Asklöv kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of Surte BF booed when Älvsjö AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Söderström made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ermegildo Lauro sent off a good shot on target. Surte BF's Patrício Portugal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Asklöv in the 7th minute of play. Mathias Asklöv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jonny Finnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Surte BF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ivan Boman hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Thomas Thomas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per Söderström. Älvsjö AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Thomas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Asklöv in the 36th minute of play forced Surte BF's goalkeeper Patrício Portugal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Thomas Thomas fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Surte BF's protests and gave Thomas Thomas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Surte BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Thomas to maneuver through the defense. Per Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ermegildo Lauro got free with Per Söderström in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ermegildo Lauro made the kick off in the second half. Per Söderström came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Surte BF's Ermegildo Lauro. But to his dismay, Ermegildo Lauro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 55th minute, Arne Fristedt had to leave the field with a concussion. Frank Överman's late challenge caught a Älvsjö AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Överman helped the player get up and apologised. Älvsjö AIK's Daniel Johnsson was substituted for Arne Fristedt. After 57 played minutes Surte BF got a freekick which was hit by Frank Överman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias Asklöv in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrício Portugal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Mathias Asklöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Älvsjö AIK's Per Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimi Hendrix in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Ermegildo Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias Asklöv during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Älvsjö AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Asklöv to maneuver through the defense. Per Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Lauro in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Ermegildo Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Surte BF were the better team. Surte BF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
