Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anton Gallberg started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Hellgren to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Erik Dahlberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Peder Ingvall's late challenge caught a Lyrestad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peder Ingvall helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Jens-Ove Botvidsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyrestad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Carl Anundsson charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Anundsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nykvarn getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Carl Anundsson hit a great ball. Fredric Runeberg came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Nykvarn's Carl Anundsson. But to his dismay, Carl Anundsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Nykvarn booed when Lyrestad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Botvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Ove Björkqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fredric Runeberg. Lyrestad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Lyrestad's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Gallberg came free, but Fredric Runeberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Anton Gallberg got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Claes Hjortsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Botvidsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Walter Josefsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Per-Olof Lennartsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Jens-Ove Botvidsson made the kick off in the second half. Carl Anundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredric Runeberg made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Carl Anundsson sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 60 minutes, Anton Gallberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nykvarn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Gallberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anton Gallberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lyrestad getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Edgar Mellbad hit a great ball. Sven-Ove Björkqvist's shot from long distance in the 73rd minute was not bad at all, but Lyrestad's Fredric Runeberg knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyrestad's goalkeeper Fredric Runeberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Niklas Vennerdal kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Anton Gallbergs short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Fredric Runeberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carl Anundsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Fredric Runeberg made a huge save. Anton Gallberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Runeberg having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match, Anton Gallberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fredric Runeberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 92nd minute, Sven-Erik Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Nykvarn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nykvarn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
