In the 3rd minute, Torgny Bergfeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, Torgny Bergfeldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gnuville BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Claes Hjortsberg was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and George Drake capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. George Drake really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of Gnuville BK booed when Nykvarn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Anundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Nykvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Torgny Bergfeldt came free, but Claes Hjortsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Skarkman in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes George Drake rounded Nykvarn's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Claes Hjortsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Bergfeldt in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Gösta Skarkman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Niklas Bröms left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After some careless play in the Nykvarn defense, George Drake kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claes Hjortsberg. The Nykvarn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claes Hjortsberg should have stopped the shot. After 46 played minutes Gnuville BK got a freekick which was hit by Harry Berg. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gösta Skarkman to make the kick off. Nykvarn's Claes Hjortsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Bergfeldt in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nykvarn's Jan Norberg got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute of the match Niklas Bröms shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Hjortsberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 54th minute George Drake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Hjortsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes of play, Gnuville BK's Vidar Ödmann made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claes Hjortsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Nykvarn defense, George Drake kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claes Hjortsberg. The Nykvarn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claes Hjortsberg should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Gnuville BK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. George Drake hit a great ball. Nykvarn's Claes Hjortsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Ödmann in the 63rd minute of play. Claes Hjortsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Bergfeldt in the 67th minute of the match. Gnuville BK's Johannes Söderström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Gnuville BK from getting a goal against them. The referee ignored Nykvarn's protests and gave Torgny Hellgren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Hellgren to maneuver through the defense. Carl Anundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Johannes Söderström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, George Drake cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Claes Hjortsberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claes Hjortsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Drake in the 86th minute of play. Claes Hjortsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Bergfeldt in the 91st minute of the match. Gnuville BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
