Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Harry Ek took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fredric Runeberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Ekelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredric Runeberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulrik Knutsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Tommy Ekelund took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredric Runeberg. Fredric Runeberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommy Ekelund in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredric Runeberg saved Lyrestad from getting behind. In the 18th minute Walter Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Sander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Lyrestad's Sven-Erik Dahlberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Harry Ek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Sixten Sander made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Lyrestad's Billy Olsson got a free kick in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tommy Ekelund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kinna IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Ekelund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredric Runeberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Kinna IF's Sixten Sander got control of the ball when Walter Josefsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven-Erik Dahlberg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tommy Ekelunds short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Fredric Runeberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. André Holmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Harry Ek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Sixten Sander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sixten Sander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tommy Ekelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erik Adelsköld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lyrestad getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Niklas Vennerdal hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tommy Ekelund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kinna IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Ekelund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredric Runeberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fredric Runeberg was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Erik Adelsköld capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erik Adelsköld really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 85th match minute, Kinna IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Ahlquist to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Kinna IF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
