BoysDontCry's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bålsta FF the free kick. In the 12th match minute, BoysDontCry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tord Björklund to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes BoysDontCry got a freekick which was hit by Joel Forsberg. Bengt-Åke Sandström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Torsten Hedling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Harry Walmarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georg Strand was relentless in the 36th minute of the game.

In the 64th match minute, BoysDontCry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Valström to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bålsta FF getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Oscar Dahlquist hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Torsten Hedling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BoysDontCry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Hedling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Bålsta FF's Juliusz Arbaszewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Georg Strand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 89th minute Harry Walmarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Strand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bålsta FF's Harry Walmarsson in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BoysDontCry's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the BoysDontCry players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bålsta FF.
