Stig Skog's late challenge caught a Bålsta FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Skog helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd minute, Stig Skog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Åke Sandström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Lundqvist in the 6th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Lovikka defense, Harry Walmarsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Högman. The Lovikka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Högman should have stopped the shot. Bålsta FF's Bengt-Åke Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Tingberg in the 15th minute of play. Rune Högman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Walmarsson in the 17th minute of the match. Harry Walmarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rune Högman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Åke Sandström was a little too slow when Peter Hellgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Bålsta FF's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Tingberg came free, but Bengt-Åke Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olof Colin got free with Bengt-Åke Sandström in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olof Colin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bengt-Åke Sandström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Walmarsson in the 42nd minute of play forced Lovikka's goalkeeper Rune Högman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Lovikka's Andreas Lundqvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bengt-Åke Sandström. Bengt-Åke Sandström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Lundqvist made a kick off. Juliusz Arbaszewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Högman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Harry Walmarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Högman having to interfere. The supporters of Lovikka booed when Bålsta FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Boström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Bålsta FF's Juliusz Arbaszewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rune Högman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. If Juliusz Arbaszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenny Bocklund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Åke Sandström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Lovikka's goalkeeper Rune Högman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juliusz Arbaszewski. When Emil Lövskog fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lovikka's protests and gave Emil Lövskog a yellow card for diving instead. Rune Högman went to the wrong direction when Eric Mickelsson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lovikka's goalkeeper Rune Högman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bålsta FF's Bengt-Åke Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Hellgren in the 84th minute of play. Bengt-Åke Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Colin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Hellgren in the 89th minute of play forced Bålsta FF's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Sandström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lovikka booed when Bålsta FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Östensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Bålsta FF's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Lundqvist came free, but Bengt-Åke Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lovikka's Andreas Lundqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bengt-Åke Sandström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johan Tingberg went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lovikka fully deserved thier win.
