In the 14th match minute, Nelson Solidaritet AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Bengtsson to maneuver through the defense. Kjell Söderström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjell Söderström in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Holger Dusett saved Nelson Solidaritet AIF from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Rickard Friberger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Söderström in the 24th minute of play forced Nelson Solidaritet AIF's goalkeeper Holger Dusett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holger Dusett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kjell Söderström's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Rickard Friberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sten Månsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the game, Rickard Friberger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nelson Solidaritet AIF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BoomFunkMCs the free kick. The supporters of BoomFunkMCs booed when Nelson Solidaritet AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Friberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes, Kjell Söderström made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nelson Solidaritet AIF's Holger Dusett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Nelson Solidaritet AIF getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sten Gallin hit a great ball. Holger Dusett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Greger Nässén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Dusett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 47th minute, Kjell Söderström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BoomFunkMCs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Nelson Solidaritet AIF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BoomFunkMCs were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sten Gallin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, BoomFunkMCs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Nässén to maneuver through the defense. Sten Gallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Kjell Söderström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Nelson Solidaritet AIF's Holger Dusett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Nelson Solidaritet AIF from getting a goal against them. Kjell Söderström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Dusett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. BoomFunkMCs's Kjell Söderström was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell Söderström in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Dusett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Nelson Solidaritet AIF's zone, Kjell Söderström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Dusett came out of the goal and Kjell Söderström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sten Gallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Söderström in the 84th minute of play forced Nelson Solidaritet AIF's goalkeeper Holger Dusett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holger Dusett made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Staffan Lundström sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Kjell Söderström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holger Dusett was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Greger Nässén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Dusett having to interfere. Holger Dusett was a little too slow when Staffan Lundström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-5. BoomFunkMCs's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
