Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Calle Josefsson kicked off to start the match. If Elliott Ahlroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th minute, Leif Waller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sture Wickander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elliott Ahlroth in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Leif Waller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Wickander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Lövskog hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Sture Wickander made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Elliott Ahlroth sent off a good shot on target. Leif Waller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Sture Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Nyberg came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by IF Eksjö Fotboll's Calle Josefsson. But to his dismay, Calle Josefsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, Mikael Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calle Josefsson in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Magnus Emander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Victor Nyberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sture Wickander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Waller in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Elliott Ahlroth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Billesholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliott Ahlroth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sture Wickander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Waller in the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, IF Eksjö Fotboll's goalkeeper Sture Wickander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elliott Ahlroth. Sture Wickander was a little too slow when Leif Waller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-2. The Billesholm players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. IF Eksjö Fotboll were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leif Waller to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Patrik Nyman notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of IF Eksjö Fotboll's Sture Wickander. Sture Wickander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, Leif Waller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sture Wickander. IF Eksjö Fotboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leif Waller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Billesholm's Victor Nyberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Billesholm from getting a goal against them. Leif Waller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Sture Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Ahlroth in the 67th minute of play forced IF Eksjö Fotboll's goalkeeper Sture Wickander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Nyberg made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Mikael Sandberg sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Ahlroth in the 75th minute of play forced IF Eksjö Fotboll's goalkeeper Sture Wickander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, one of Billesholm:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Billesholm. If Elliott Ahlroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. IF Eksjö Fotboll's Sture Wickander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Waller in the 83rd minute of play. Leif Waller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Wickander having to interfere. Elliott Ahlroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Sture Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
