The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the match, Svartbjörnsbyns IF's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Telin came free, but Viktor Vibjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Kaxe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klas Göransson in the 13th minute. Viktor Vibjörnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Telin in the 18th minute of play. When Egil Engström fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svartbjörnsbyns IF's protests and gave Egil Engström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Svartbjörnsbyns IF's Egil Engström got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 26th minute Dick Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Vibjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Rutger Beckström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomas Kaxe. Rutger Beckström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Dick Skarkman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Viktor Vibjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Svartbjörnsbyns IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Engström to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Kvissleby:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Svartbjörnsbyns IF:s goal. In the 38th minute, Egil Sandström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kvissleby's zone, Egil Sandström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Kaxe came out of the goal and Egil Sandström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klas Göransson to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kvissleby's zone, Inge Wester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Kaxe came out of the goal and Inge Wester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inge Wester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Kvissleby's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Sandström came free, but Tomas Kaxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Egil Sandström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svartbjörnsbyns IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kvissleby the free kick. After 64 played minutes Svartbjörnsbyns IF got a freekick which was hit by Egil Sandström. If Klas Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Kaxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Sandström in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Klas Göransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Vibjörnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Börge Granqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Vibjörnsson having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kvissleby defense, Egil Sandström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Kaxe. The Kvissleby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Kaxe should have stopped the shot. Kvissleby's Valdemar Sjöström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Viktor Vibjörnsson but with some difficulty. Inge Wester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svartbjörnsbyns IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
