The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Axel Viklund in the 3rd minute of play forced Hörnebo Sk's goalkeeper Dan Uter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Uter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Viklund in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Gustafsson in the 6th minute of play forced Hörnebo Sk's goalkeeper Dan Uter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 8 minutes, Jonathan Eckegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hörnebo Sk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Eckegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Eckegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alvar Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Mats Aronsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Uter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dan Uter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Gustafsson in the 24th minute of the match. Dan Uter came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Ryssby FK's Marko Gustafsson. But to his dismay, Marko Gustafsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hörnebo Sk's Dan Uter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Axel Viklund in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Karl-Axel Viklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Uter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marko Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Uter having to interfere. The Ryssby FK fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Ryssby FK's Marko Gustafsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 46 minutes into the match, Hörnebo Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Gustafsson came free, but Dan Uter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Uter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Axel Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Hörnebo Sk players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ryssby FK were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marko Gustafsson made a kick off. Marko Gustafsson scored 0-5 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Uter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dan Uter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvar Nilsson in the 63rd minute of the match. Marko Gustafsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Dan Uter made a huge save. Dan Uter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Axel Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Marko Gustafsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Dan Uter made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Mats Aronsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Hörnebo Sk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Uter should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Hörnebo Sk's Dan Uter got control of the ball when Mats Aronsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Axel Viklund got free with Dan Uter in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Eckegren during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonathan Eckegren hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Marko Gustafsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Dan Uter made a huge save. Dan Uter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvar Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Ryssby FK's Alvar Nilsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Marko Gustafsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dan Uter came out and tried to block the shot, but Marko Gustafsson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 96th minute. Ryssby FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
