Tommy Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Elvie United's Filiberto Derwin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brian Linqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Goa Gubbar FC's Brian Linqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Derwin in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Goa Gubbar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Derwin came free, but Brian Linqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiberto Derwin scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brian Linqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brian Linqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvie United's Alfons Dahlquist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anthon Alstedt in the 30 minute of the game. A collision led to Elvie United getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Brian Linqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Patrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Elvie United's goalkeeper Rune Bruhn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Bengtsson. Brian Linqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Derwin in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Elvie United booed when Goa Gubbar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Bållström didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Patrido in the 45th minute of play forced Goa Gubbar FC's goalkeeper Brian Linqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Elvie United's José Luis Sixta made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brian Linqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With an all-out effort, Elvie United's Brian Linqvist threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bo Påk, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brian Linqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Derwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute, Elvie United's Filiberto Derwin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brian Linqvist. Brian Linqvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6.
