After 6 played minutes Fc Mybach got a freekick which was hit by Ragnar Blomqvist. Ingvar Thidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gunnar Carlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Fc Mybach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Godholm to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Bo-Erik Ivarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Mybach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo-Erik Ivarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Fc Mybach's Bo-Erik Ivarsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunnar Carlsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Jakob Godholm came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Fc Mybach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakob Godholm couldn't finish the play. Stig-Ove Offendahl came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Edsbro's Brian Hjelm. But to his dismay, Brian Hjelm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 34th minute, Jakob Godholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the game, Jakob Godholm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gunnar Carlsson. Jakob Godholm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Gunnar Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo-Erik Ivarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Ivar Granqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edsbro's Gunnar Carlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ingvar Thidén came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Fc Mybach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Thidén couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Hjelm to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Fc Mybach's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Offendahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Hjelm. Stig-Ove Offendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Hjelm in the 56th minute of the match. Stig-Ove Offendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jakob Godholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Ivar Granqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gunnar Carlsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ingvar Thidén fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Mybach's protests and gave Ingvar Thidén a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Ingvar Thidén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
