Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gunnar Wallgren took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kent Juhlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Salkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Markusson kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 12thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Goa Gubbar FC's keeper Brian Linqvist was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Brian Linqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Hydén in the 13th minute of the match. Brian Linqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Hydén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Hydén in the 19th minute of play forced Goa Gubbar FC's goalkeeper Brian Linqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Utö's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Salkvist came free, but Kent Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tor Göransson during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Utö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor Göransson to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match, Kevin Markusson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Brian Linqvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Oskar Friberger hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Wallgren in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kent Juhlin saved Utö from getting behind. Kent Juhlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Salkvist in the 33rd minute of play. Brian Linqvist made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Kevin Markusson sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Tor Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Kevin Markusson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Utö's Tor Göransson got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Gunnar Wallgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Utö's Kent Juhlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Wallgren in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Juhlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Claes Hydén made the kick off in the second half. Carl Bengtsson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Kent Juhlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goa Gubbar FC. Petter Salkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 played minutes Utö got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Berglund. Claes Hydén took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brian Linqvist. Brian Linqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Goa Gubbar FC's Petter Salkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunnar Wallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Juhlin having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Goa Gubbar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Markusson came free, but Brian Linqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Anthon Alstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Linqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Markusson went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Kevin Markusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernt Brandin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, one of Goa Gubbar FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Utö a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Patrik Stor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Goa Gubbar FC's Brian Linqvist. 3-0. If Kevin Markusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Utö fans cheered their team off the field, for while Goa Gubbar FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
